Queen's Park and Moody Park hold their value best, with Sapperton following. Uptown suits buyers who want to walk to everything. Queensborough offers newer homes and more space at lower prices, with the trade being a longer commute and a river bridge on the route.
New Westminster is the oldest city in western Canada and the smallest by area in Metro Vancouver, which means almost everything is within a short walk of the SkyTrain. Housing is a mix of early 1900s detached homes, post-war bungalows and newer towers around Uptown and the Quay.

New Westminster is the only mainland city here with a working waterfront, a hillside downtown and a SkyTrain line within a few kilometres of each other.
